Sunwayworld SW-LIMS Collaborative Embodied Robot Debuts at Metrology Equipment Exhibition

2025-11-12 10:44:34

From November 11th to 13th, the second Metrology Instrument Equipment Exhibition (2025), hosted by the China Metrology Association, was held in Hengyang City, Hunan Province. With the theme "Strengthening the Metrology Foundation, Integrating Industries, and Driving Innovation," the exhibition attracted numerous guests from industrial metrology testing centers, technical institutions, high-end instrument manufacturers, and research institutes.

Beijing Sunwayworld Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sunwayworld") made a grand appearance with its leading metrology digitalization solutions and innovative applications. Through keynote speeches, specially designed booths, and intelligent robot explanations, it vividly showcased cutting-edge practices that use "digitalization and intelligence" to activate the core potential of the metrology industry, becoming a focal point of the exhibition.

**Digital Transformation: Full Technology Stack Drives Leap in Metrology Efficiency**

At the exchange seminar on the afternoon of November 11th, Zhang Xianfeng, General Manager of the Metrology Business Division of Sunwayworld, delivered a keynote report titled "Empowering Metrology with Digital Intelligence: Sunwayworld SW-LIMS Activates Industry Potential with a Full Technology Stack." Zhang Xianfeng pointed out that digital intelligence technology is not only a tool for the metrology industry to "address pain points and improve efficiency" but also key to driving the industry's transformation from "traditional human-driven" to "data-intelligent-driven."

Zhang Xianfeng detailed the SW-LIMS metrology digitalization solution independently developed by Sunwayworld. This solution deeply focuses on industry pain points, providing metrology institutions with an intelligent platform that covers the entire process and integrates all data, significantly improving work efficiency and service capabilities, effectively activating data value, and driving service upgrades and the intelligent process of management decision-making.

Leveraging its core advantages of "comprehensive business coverage" and "full technology stack assurance," the platform has achieved the online and closed-loop management of core metrology inspection business processes, seamlessly integrating modules such as customer service, equipment management, quality management, and business-finance integration. Simultaneously, the company's self-developed SunwayLink intelligent agent development platform is deeply integrated into metrology business, enabling the flexible development and deployment of AI applications like intelligent customer service, report pre-screening, and indicator analysis assistants, greatly enhancing work efficiency and user experience. Furthermore, relying on a low-code development platform and a BI custom analysis platform, the system ensures high flexibility, enabling rapid response to business changes and deep-level data analysis needs.

**Embodied Implementation: Robots Empower Full-Process Automation in Metrology**

A major highlight of Sunwayworld at this exhibition was the impressive debut of the 4Pro embodied robot. This robot integrates cutting-edge artificial intelligence and robotics technologies. It served as a docent on-site and vividly demonstrated its application scenarios in future metrology laboratories, becoming a vivid interpretation of the "digital intelligence empowerment" concept.

According to reports, the full-scenario, full-process solution of the embodied robot is deeply integrated into its SW-LIMS metrology digitalization platform. Through "robot replacement of manual labor + system intelligent scheduling," it significantly enhances the efficiency and accuracy of metrology inspections, ensures full traceability of operations, and constructs a new paradigm for a highly collaborative smart laboratory. The planned innovative application scenarios include:
1. Intelligent Acceptance, Efficient and Convenient: In the calibration/verification entrustment acceptance stage, the robot acts as an all-around assistant in the reception hall. Relying on a knowledge base and using natural voice interaction, it guides customers and answers questions. It uses visual recognition technology to automatically check sample information, input it into the system, and print labels, achieving full-process automation and greatly improving service efficiency and satisfaction.
2. Sample Transfer, Fully Traceable: After sample acceptance, the robot replaces manual sample delivery, using laser navigation to plan optimal paths and avoid obstacles. It automatically records handover times and information throughout the process, generating a complete transfer trajectory, solving the pain points of traditional manual delivery such as low efficiency, error-proneness, and difficulty in tracing.
3. Inspection Partner, Data Authentication: As a partner for inspectors, during the experimental preparation phase, the robot can accurately fetch and prepare consumables, place them in position, automatically monitor environmental parameters for anomaly alerts, and complete preparations specific to different inspection items. Through standardized interfaces, it captures instrument raw data in real-time, automatically uploads it to the big data platform for processing, and generates draft reports. This not only avoids manual recording errors but also improves data processing efficiency by over 60%.
4. Standardized Return, Closed-Loop Management: After inspection completion, the robot provides standardized sample return services. It can automatically organize samples and reports, send pickup reminders to customers via SW-LIMS. Upon the customer's arrival, it verifies their identity using facial recognition technology, completes the handover, synchronously records information, and uploads it to the system, achieving full-process closed-loop management from entrustment to return.

**Co-creating the Future Blueprint for Metrology**

The embodied robot immersively demonstrated the entire process of its integration as an intelligent interactive terminal into laboratory business processes, undertaking tasks such as guidance, queries, direction, and data interaction. This concrete presentation made the concept of "digital intelligence empowerment" tangible, fully reflecting Sunwayworld's forward-looking layout in promoting metrology's intelligence, unmanned operation, and interactive upgrade.

During the exhibition, Sunwayworld's booth attracted leaders from metrology institutes, technical experts, instrument manufacturers, and industry users from across the country for stop-and-talk exchanges. Professional visitors showed strong interest in the concept of "Full Technology Stack Activates Industry Potential" proposed by Sunwayworld and engaged in in-depth discussions on the functional value of the company's metrology digitalization solutions and the embodied robot in improving efficiency, ensuring data quality, optimizing customer service, and strengthening decision support. The robot's professional and vivid explanations and demonstrations added a strong sense of futuristic technology to the technical exchanges, making it a deserved highlight of the exhibition.

Facing the era where metrology technology is increasingly becoming an important support for industrial upgrading and the construction of the National Quality Infrastructure (NQI), Sunwayworld will continue to deepen its R&D investment in metrology management software and AI technology, committed to providing more comprehensive products, more professional services, and more innovative overall solutions. It aims to join hands with industry partners to jointly promote the intelligent upgrade process of metrology testing technology, contributing solid strength to fully activating the potential of the metrology industry and serving the modernization of Chinese-style development.
